Our final seagull of 2018 was spotted soaring above one of the festive lights near the seafront.

For November we’re showcasing a seagull surveying Colquhoun Square from atop the old post office building. We waited a good few minutes watching as he made circuits of the square, hoping he’d land upon the highest point of the building but he was content to settle for the chimney.

This month’s seagull was spotted perching upon the roof of Helensburgh Swimming Pool, no doubt watching out for some passers-by clutching a bag of chips!

This month’s seagull was spotted methodically dropping shellfish onto the pier before soaring effortlessly in the strong westerly wind.
