We had a beautifully sunny end to the month and this seagull was captured soaring above the west bay off Helensburgh’s shore in late February 2023.

Our final seagull of the month for 2022 was photographed on the afternoon of the last day of the year. Staying out of the cold River Clyde, perhaps she’s looking forward to what 2023 will have in store – hopefully some warmer weather for us all.

This determined looking seagull was gliding in the strong wind, surveying the waves as they crashed ashore during blustery conditions in late October.

This young ‘gull was spotted claiming a rock and showing no interest in the windsurfing exploits behind her in the balmy weather in early September. Sadly, she won’t see weather like this again for a good six months.
