We’ve enjoyed some beautiful evenings to end the month of May and whilst out for a stroll along the pier, this seagull was spotted swooping just above its own reflection to the west of the pier.

Despite the sunny weather toward the end of April, the month came to an end on a colder note with some overcast skies. This seagull was spotted scouting the area from atop a lamppost by the west bay.

March was a bleak month compared to the winter sun of February. This seagull of the month was spotted gliding into the bracing cold winds in the west bay in mid-March.

This young seagull was spotted at water’s edge in the west bay. It doesn’t look like a warm day for a paddle but this ‘gull spent a while searching for sustenance.
